Elizabeth Cotton is the Founder and Executive Director of Black Tech Link, A California based 501(c)(3) community organization dedicated to advancing Black and underrepresented communities through technical education, workforce solutions, and networking opportunities.

Elizabeth focuses her passion of uplifting Black communities through engagement as well as impactful workforce and business development platforms geared toward providing resources for aspiring business and tech professionals. 

Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience working in program management and analytical roles across various industries such as construction, law, global transportation, healthcare, sports, entertainment, nonprofit, education, and government. Her acquired expertise in these industries have allowed her to consult for leading companies such as Qualcomm, Best Buy, Express Scripts, ResMed, IBM, Cubic Corporation, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Becton Dickinson, Latham & Watkins, San Diego Gas & Electric, Minnesota State University, Texas Christian University, University of Central Florida, Northeastern University, Illumina, and many more.

Leveraging her B.A. in International Business with a concentration in Portuguese from California State University Fullerton, she continuously works to inspire Black communities in the US and throughout the world . Most recently during November 2019, she had the opportunity to collaborate with the US Embassies in Brazil in Santa Catarina and São Paulo. She provided lectures and keynote discussions during Black Awareness Month in Brazil to audiences of youth, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and influencers. This was a very powerful program in that Elizabeth was able to forge relationships with a variety of organizations and professionals throughout the country. Her life’s work is to spark professional and business tourism in communities with growing economic opportunities. Elizabeth is also a US State Department US Mission to Brazil Alumna.
